The VHS video tapes were expensive too, and I had 2 of my own. These tapes had episodes of the Mandrell Sisters show and various other things I had recorded. Of course, they were recorded on EP mode, so I could get 6 hours per tape. If I wanted to tape over something, I had to carefully navigate around the bits I wanted to keep.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">1983 was a particularly good year for music. Dolly released the #1 smash hit "Islands In The Stream," a duet with Kenny Rogers, written and produced by The Bee Gees. But her lesser known hit, "Potential New Boyfriend," is my favorite Parton song of all. It's pure '80s pop pleasure! Incidentally, PNB was written by Steve Kipner, who also wrote "Physical" for Olivia Newton-John, and, as I just discovered, the recent "Live Like We're Dying" by American Idol's Kris Allen.</div><div><p style="text-align: justify;margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px; font: normal normal normal 12px/normal Helvetica; "><img src="webkit-fake-url://1E1DEADF-BC57-46DE-85EB-575DBC298765/islandsinthestream.jpg" alt="islandsinthestream.jpg" /></p></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Another '80s pop pleasure is the cheesy yet awesome Solid Gold! All the pop gems you could consume were neatly packaged into an hour-long countdown featuring all the stars of the day as well as some crazy dancers. I remember being particularly fascinated by Rex Smith's nearly painted-on pants!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So imagine my 8-year-old excitement when Dolly appeared on Solid Gold two weeks in a row performing "Potential New Boyfriend!" One week, she wore a ruffled off-the-shoulders yellow top and a wooly red skirt with a zig-zag hem. <i>Very country!</i> But the other week, Dolly wore this black, leather-like sex vixen ensemble, complete with her own painted on pants.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Both appearances were lovingly recorded on one of my two video tapes, but some way, some how, after many viewings, they got recorded over! I'm sure little screams of horror rang through our house! In recent years, I had searched for these performances on YouTube, but to no avail.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Finally, I was able to squeal with glee when I found this! Watch and appreciate the 1983 fabulosity of it all!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><object width="480" height="385"></object></div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-57452394605932366852009-10-02T07:52:00.000-07:002009-10-02T07:58:11.254-07:00Madonna & Lourdes: Second Coming<div style="text-align: justify;">If you loved Nadya Ginsburg and Selene Luna in their last <a href="http://blakeentertained.blogspot.com/2009/01/madonna-and-madonna-videos.html"><b>Madonna & Lourdes send-up</b></a>, check out their new Madge & Lola vid:</div><object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/6IH5zVFTtXk&hl=en&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/6IH5zVFTtXk&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-12366436802850873862009-09-30T23:46:00.000-07:002009-10-01T02:07:38.125-07:00On A Night Like This<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SsRv2kagliI/AAAAAAAAAhY/Dc_jx8vGuEk/s1600-h/IMG_0239.JPG"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 214px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SsRv2kagliI/AAAAAAAAAhY/Dc_jx8vGuEk/s320/IMG_0239.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5387554037520438818" /></a><br /><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Maybe I should title this post "Wow wow wow wow!!!" I just saw <b>Kylie Minogue</b> live for the first time. She's been performing for over 20 years, but tonight she began her first North American tour. Just hours ago, she hit the stage for opening night at the Fox Theatre in Oakland, California. I had wondered for so long if this day would ever come. It's unbelievable that it finally did!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I staked out a prime spot on the general admission floor area and chatted up a few new friends. I was up close and personal as "Minnie" performed most of her hits, including several songs from her latest album, X.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">But the biggest surprise was the inclusion of a brand new song, "Better Than Today." Kylie mentioned that she was doing something for the first time, introducing a song that will be included on her upcoming album!! Such a catchy, cute number too. But you can judge for yourself. Thanks to 12345Speakerphone for posting this.</div><div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><object width="560" height="340"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/P3Jr3Utf3U0&hl=en&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/P3Jr3Utf3U0&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="560" height="340"></embed></object></div></div><br />Check out <a href="http://kylie.com/home"><b>Kylie's Tour Blog</b></a> for inside info and her thoughts on the whole experience. Next stop for me: the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday! More Minogue madness! There were a few laughs, but for the most part, it left me wanting more. I really want to like this show. They sucked me in with the following lines of dialogue in their promos:</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Gay #1: "Why is our daughter dressed like Donna Summer?"</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Gay #2: "<i>Clearly</i> she is Diana Ross from the RCA years!"</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Only a true diva fanatic can appreciate that part of the 1980s that brought us such Miss Ross gems as "Mirror, Mirror," "Muscles," "Pieces of Ice," and the Ross/Barry Gibb/Michael Jackson collaboration "Eaten Alive."</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">The first episode of "Family" contained no such gems. Guess I'll have to wait for the episode with the bewigged adopted baby.</div><div><img style="text-align: justify;float: left; margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 10px; margin-bottom: 10px; margin-left: 0px; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px; " src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/Srsiq_ouPuI/AAAAAAAAAhQ/_TU8_m3H2SE/s320/cougar-town-ad_l.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5384935901483646690" /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Cougartown, on the other hand, was a riot! Ten times better! Granted, I may be a bit biased. I spent 10 years invested in the goings-on of Courteney Cox & crew on Friends. But Cougartown is a refreshing adult comedy!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">So much is sanitized these days that I was giddy with glee at the dirtiness "CT" got away with! As Jules, Courteney is jumping back into dating/preying on younger men. One of the first episode's delights was the intimate moment our protagonist gets caught in, and the fruit she is subsequently forbidden from eating!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">It seems our gal Jules is a successful real estate agent. The sexy photo on her signs inspires the lust of a neighborhood tween boy. I'm assuming she's successful because, as a sign maker, I know those signs would've cost a pretty penny. They're larger than average size, with a full-color photo, and made of material strong enough not to bend when being used to beat someone over the head!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">I say it was a slam-dunk for Court and Cougartown on premiere night. Let's hope they keep it up!!</div></div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-20698747540903594902009-09-21T23:51:00.000-07:002009-09-22T00:29:53.243-07:00Am I a Hoarder?<div style="text-align: justify;">I love the <a href="http://www.aetv.com/hoarders/"><b>A&E show Hoarders</b></a>! I have always been a bit of a packrat. I'm not sure if I enjoy Hoarders so much because I relate to the people or because I can watch it and think, "At least I'm not that bad!"</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: justify;">I'm a TV junkie, and as VHS video tapes got cheaper, my collection grew. I didn't have to record over things! I could save them for a rainy day!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: justify;">The digital age that we now live in is my rainy day. Do I really want to convert those hundreds of tapes to mpeg or avi format? <i>(Incidentally, if anyone knows the best digital video format for achieving small file size with decent quality, let me know! I use both PC & Mac, but I'll save that story for another time.)</i></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Square footage is a hoarder's (or packrat's) worst enemy. The more space you have, the more crap you can amass! I can certainly attest to that. My current home is fairly large, but if/when I move to LA, I'm sure I will have a much smaller living space.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">Soon, I will start the journey down the endless miles of video tape. "Oh I would watch 500 miles and I would watch 500 more..." If I can downsize, I'll be ready to move when the opportunity arises. Soon. I'm off work next week...</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: justify;">Andy Rooney can relate:</div><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/h7a38V7uHTg&hl=en&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/h7a38V7uHTg&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object></div></div></div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-3462209904650024752009-09-18T23:59:00.000-07:002009-09-19T05:13:54.219-07:00Doing It with Margaret & Luna & Ginsburg!<div style="text-align: center;"><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SrTJqL1_BzI/AAAAAAAAAg4/Rj2FUKzoyvU/s1600-h/doing+it+at+Largo+8-20-09.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 252px; height: 320px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SrTJqL1_BzI/AAAAAAAAAg4/Rj2FUKzoyvU/s320/doing+it+at+Largo+8-20-09.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5383149181185492786" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">Recently (August 20 to be exact), I was <b>"Doing It with Margaret Cho,"</b> as well as Ian Harvie, Selene Luna and Nadya Ginsburg. Pix and bios are posted on <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/bio/">the CBS site.</a><br /><br />There's always at least one gay person, and this year it's <a href="http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/bio/kevin_11/bio.php?season=11"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Kevin</span></a>. A graphic designer from Chula Vista, CA, Kevin grew up Jehovah's Witness but was excommunicated at the age of 21. He's now 29, calls himself "blackanese" (I love it!) and says he can get bitchy. <span style="font-style: italic;">Gurrl, who can't?</span><br /><br /><br /><a href="http://www.cbs.com/primetime/big_brother/bio/chima_11/bio.php?season=11"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Chima</span></a>, is a journalist from West Hollywood, so I'm pegging her as the faghag. This 32-year-old single gal is "looking for a man who is tall, considerate and has a great sense of humor." Surely she's surrounded by plenty of guys like that, living in WeHo, but <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://margaretcho.com/">Margaret Cho</a> would say, "Girl, you better be more specific!"<br /><br />CBS has only announced 12 houseguests so far, and there's a mystery HG to be announced July 7. Speculation is that there may be as many as 14 prisoners (uh... I mean... players) in the house. For ALL the latest on Big Brother, check out <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://bbdish.blogspot.com/">BBDish</a>. This girl is on top of it! <span style="font-style: italic;">Seriously!</span><br /></div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-31045860537312676912009-06-30T23:11:00.000-07:002009-07-01T05:51:31.762-07:00Ross Tours Big Brother House<div style="text-align: justify;">Wow! Ross (The Intern) Matthews is a bigger Big Brother fan than me! And he gets to tour the Big Brother house. Not just that, but he and his studio, across the street from the BB house, will be the first stop after eviction. Ross' show will officially take the place of House Calls, the now-defunct internet show where evictees would field questions from hosts and viewers.<br /></div><br /><object width='400' height='300'><param name='movie' value='http://www.cbs.com/e/Rc6JeEcc0araBHfKwpZjToF_mF6Oc3pN/theinsider/1/'></param><param name='allowFullScreen' value='true'></param><param name='allowScriptAccess' value='always'></param><embed width='400' height='300' src='http://www.cbs.com/e/Rc6JeEcc0araBHfKwpZjToF_mF6Oc3pN/theinsider/1/' allowfullscreen='true' allowScriptAccess='always' type='application/x-shockwave-flash'></embed></object>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-55097496681569227282009-06-26T07:35:00.000-07:002009-07-01T06:00:50.318-07:00Michael Jackson: 1958-2009<div style="text-align: center;">James Dean<br />Marilyn Monroe<br />Elvis Presley<br />Princess Diana<br />Laura Branigan<br />Anna Nicole Smith<br />Heath Ledger<br />Farrah Fawcett<br />Michael Jackson<br /></div><br /><div style="text-align: justify;">All gone too soon. I'm still in shock. Just the other day, I was thinking how great it would be to see one of Michael Jackson's upcoming "comeback" concerts in London. Experiencing great entertainers in all their glory, doing what they do best and what they are so loved for is so invigorating for me. Being part of something so magical can really make you feel alive.<br /><br />I wonder what will become of the children of "the King of Pop," a man so childlike himself. Regardless of all the scandal that tarnished his name in later years, Michael Jackson's contribution to 20th century music and pop culture, and his ability to entertain are undeniable.<br /><br />Diana Ross was a very special friend of Michael's. Check out this video from Diana's 1981 television special where Michael joins her onstage for Upside Down.<br /></div><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/haoXt4SHxhc&hl=en&fs=1&"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/haoXt4SHxhc&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-77391920991881266772009-06-11T18:00:00.000-07:002009-06-11T18:18:59.260-07:00Chastity Bono becoming a man?!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SjGrkcLVnYI/AAAAAAAAAdk/cFfST-Mtqmw/s1600-h/cher+%26+chaz.jpg"><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 232px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SjGrkcLVnYI/AAAAAAAAAdk/cFfST-Mtqmw/s320/cher+%26+chaz.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346242875192876418" /></a><br /><br /><br /><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;">OMG... who knew? Chastity Bono, "Chaz" to family and friends, began the process of gender reassignment earlier this year, according to the Associated Press. T.R. joined Eric McCormack, Charlize Theron, Dustin Lance Black and many others in the largest gay rights gathering Fresno has ever seen. Kathy will be cavorting in Las Vegas with Bette Midler, which, incidentally, I will be doing the night before! It's a double-header for me, as I will be catching Fleetwood Mac's Unleashed: The Hits Tour at MGM Grand Saturday night, followed by Bette's The Showgirl Must Go On at Caesar's Palace Sunday night. I just watched the debut of <strong>Late Night With Jimmy Fallon</strong> and <strong>Justin Timberlake</strong> had me in stitches. SNL's "Barry Gibb Talk Show" with Jimmy and JT was crazy funny, and of course they decided to relive some of the hilarity on Jimmy's show. Justin's <strong>John Mayer</strong> and <strong>Michael McDonald</strong> impressions are not to be missed! Check it out here:</div><div align="justify"> </div><div align="justify"></div><div height="296" width="512"><param value="http://www.hulu.com/embed/VNpin66UhPwaV5H0Xvq5xQ" name="movie"></param><param value="true" name="allowFullScreen"></param><embed src="http://www.hulu.com/embed/VNpin66UhPwaV5H0Xvq5xQ" width="512" height="296" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true"></embed><br /></div><div align="justify"> </div><div align="justify">And Justin, if you're reading this, thanks for turning <strong>Madonna</strong> out on <strong>Hard Candy</strong>. <strong>4 Minutes</strong> and <strong>Dance 2Night</strong> (my personal fave) are the highlights of her album. Ya ain't too hard to look at either!</div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-10092174938289414062009-03-05T07:33:00.000-08:002009-03-05T11:04:29.138-08:00Idol Thoughts (Go Jesse Go!)Okay, so Fox is using its juggernaut, <span style="font-weight: bold;">American Idol</span>, for all it's worth, stretching out the voting and the road to Top 12 as much as possible. This year, we got <span style="font-style: italic;">three weeks</span> of Top 36 performances, topped off by tonight's wild card showdown featuring second chances for 8 hopefuls.<br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />Idol likes to keep things equal, usually with 6 guys and 6 girls in the Top 12. So far, we have 6 guys and 3 girls. The wild card show features 4 guys and 4 girls. (Hmm... wonder how that happened!) <span style="font-weight: bold; font-style: italic;">In order for us to have an "equal" Top 12, the judges would need to select 3 girls and no guys.</span><br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SbAhlMXupDI/AAAAAAAAAbs/odjFIwhffL0/s1600-h/jesse-langseth.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SbAhlMXupDI/AAAAAAAAAbs/odjFIwhffL0/s320/jesse-langseth.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5309780883529442354" border="0" /></a><br />My choices for the wild cards would be <span style="font-weight: bold;">Jasmine Murray, Megan Joy Corkrey</span> and, my personal fave, <a href="http://www.idolstalker.com/american-idol-8-top-36-jesse-langseth/"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Jesse Langseth</span></a>. Sure, she's the sister of singer <span style="font-weight: bold;">Jonny Lang</span>, so people think she may have gotten a little extra consideration. If that were the case, wouldn't <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://davidosmond.com/">David Osmond</a> still be on the show? Whatever the case, Jesse's got an awesome, very distinctive voice, and <span style="font-weight: bold;">"Bette Davis Eyes"</span> was perfect for her! It's the only Top 36 performance I've bought on iTunes (so far).<br /><br />One thing that's always bugged me is that Fox makes such a big deal out of the Top 12, but it's only the Top 10 that go on tour when the show is over. Can anyone make sense of that?<br /><br />Anyway, tune in tonight to see how they round out the Top 12. <span style="font-style: italic;">And <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://new.music.yahoo.com/blogs/realityrocks/140409/american-idol-results-hot-and-cold/">go here</a> for a complete breakdown of last night's show!</span><br /><br /></div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-69505079545749255472009-02-27T07:37:00.000-08:002009-02-27T15:16:54.969-08:00This Is The Main Event! The bitch is back, and she's letting you have it!<br /><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />If you haven't been watching RuPaul's Drag Race, which is airing on LOGO and VH1, you need to! It's crazy fun! You can catch up on missed episodes, bonus footage and all the dragalicious drama at <a href="http://www.blogger.com/rupaulsdragrace.com">RuPaulsDragRace.com</a>.<br /><br />What's more, Ru's new CD "Champion" dropped this week! It features the first single "Cover Girl," and the theme from "Drag Race." The opening track is "The Main Event." No, it's not the Streisand disco song, but it's a great high energy track! Ru even pays homage to Barbra by including her classic movie poster on <a href="http://rupaul.com/news/">her blog</a>. Check it out!</div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-44483285682403367352009-02-16T16:12:00.000-08:002009-02-16T16:13:18.486-08:00Dancing Circles in the Sand<div style="text-align: justify;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SZoAt04RWfI/AAAAAAAAAac/SvsLtPfCdzs/s1600-h/Belinda_After+cropped.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 170px; height: 182px;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SZoAt04RWfI/AAAAAAAAAac/SvsLtPfCdzs/s320/Belinda_After+cropped.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303552298470955506" border="0" /></a>First came the NutriSystem endorsement. Now she's set to take a turn on Dancing With The Stars. It seems that <span style="font-weight: bold;">Belinda Carlisle</span> is really following in the footsteps of Marie Osmond. Let's hope the Go-Go's lead singer doesn't go <span style="font-weight: bold;">"Head Over Heels"</span> and fall on her ass like Donny's sister did! Although Da Brat, who enjoyed mocking Belinda's bandmate Jane Wiedlin on VH1's The Surreal Life, would surely get a kick out of a topsy-turvy Carlisle!<br /></div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />Besides Belinda, this season's Dancing contestants include Jewel and her husband Ty Murray, computer guru Steve Wozniak (Kathy Griffin's ex), not-so-<span style="font-style: italic;">Complicated</span> Denise Richards, and Sex and the City nude hottie Gilles Marini. Songstress Julianne Hough, a Dancing regular, will be paired with her real-life boyfriend, country singer Chuck Wicks. See the <a href="http://abc.go.com/primetime/dancingwiththestars/index?pn=about">complete list here.</a><br /><br />Most likely to have a wardrobe malfunction: rapper <span style="font-weight: bold;">Lil Kim</span>. But when you start out wearing pasties, there's not much left to come off! One of my absolute <a href="http://www.virginmedia.com/music/pictures/awards/mtv-shocking-moments.php?ssid=7">favorite moments in pop culture</a> in my lifetime was seeing Diana Ross jiggle Kim's not-so-Lil mammary on the MTV Awards!<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SZn90ctpxxI/AAAAAAAAAaU/abUv793DjZc/s1600-h/Diana-Ross-Lil-Kim-boob_l.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 240px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_OQ-aJmBIinU/SZn90ctpxxI/AAAAAAAAAaU/abUv793DjZc/s320/Diana-Ross-Lil-Kim-boob_l.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5303549113708168978" border="0" /></a></div>BlakeLovesCHOhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10675691043282992483noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6724433943266915772.post-17962912754914272042009-02-13T07:33:00.000-08:002009-02-13T09:37:49.669-08:00Do you know your logos?<div style="text-align: justify;">Wanna test yourself? <a style="font-weight: bold;" href="http://www.walletpop.com/quizzes/company-signs">Take this quiz</a> and try to identify the correct company logos! It's quick and fun. We see these all the time, but often don't pay too much attention.<br /><br />I scored 19 out of 20. It might help that I have worked in the sign business for over ten years!
